Ignacia “Luna” Genco had a life altering experience with Chinese Medicine in 2000. Her son developed frequent respiratory problems as an infant. Western medical options were limited and not helpful. While visiting an Native Indian Reservation in Canada, her son fell ill and could barely breathe. The nearest hospital was thirty minutes away. She watched anxiously as her son turned blue and was barely conscious. Thankful to have made it to the Canadian hospital in time, she knew there had to be another alternative to help her son gain long term benefits rather than waiting for another episode to occur, just to end up in the ER again. When she returned to Colorado, she discovered a Chinese Medicine Doctor who founded the college that she later attended. The Chinese Medicine Doctor improved her son’s health immediately with Chinese Herbs. Luna’s son grew up to play competitive sports and serve as a US Navy Submarine Sailor. A task which wouldn’t have been possible without Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In 2007, Luna received her Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over the past 17 years, Luna has treated a wide variety of health imbalances; including disorders in the gastro intestinal system, reproductive problems, respiratory, emotional energy blockages to pediatric ailments.
Luna supports many athletes locally and nationally with acupuncture. Her healing work has been utilized by UFC MMA contenders, Pro-Muay Thai Champions, Pro-Brazillian Jiu Jitsu fighters, and high school and college athletes.
Luna also has extensive experience in Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Micro Needling, Facial Cupping, and Facial Guasha. Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture is safe and effective in diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, enhancing the complexion, decreasing the signs of aging and most importantly, building collagen and nutrients to the skin naturally. Luna holds a certificate in the advanced program for cosmetic facial acupuncture, micro- needling, neurological disorders of the face, including Bell’s Palsy, Trigeminal Neuralgia, and TMJ. Luna is also certified to perform facial cupping, facial gua-sha, and she is trained to prescribe facial serums to fit your personal skin needs.

In her spare time, Luna and her family train Muay Thai Kickboxing together as well as travel and cook together. Family is her treasure and she is a recent proud grandmother of a lovely granddaughter.
